For Goodness sake! Since we've GOT to have empathic dinosaurs in the movie, why not just go the whole Rex and admit that it was what it was. The dinosaur holds the ailing dinosaur's head down so that it does not get spotted by the rest of the pack. It's compassion. Pity. Reptilian kindness - whatever that is. "Keep your head down or they'll see you!" Durr.

I happen to love "Krull", unlike the reviewer and most others on earth, and I can only envy those who got to have such a wedding. While my wife is not a fan of the film (and believe me I've given her enough chances to become one) I would have done this in a heartbeat! Complete with the fire in the hand. Sans the Slayers massacring my parents and my wedding guests. Culminating with my wife and I riding into the Iron Mountains upon the horse of Ynir, the Old One. Oh why couldn't I have been around when this glorious marketing even unfolded?

Thank you for this. PTA is above all, a humanist. No other director offers such a exhilarating combination of Kubrick level cerebral artistry and cynicism with such sincere humanism. This is especially true of his last two masterpieces, TWBB and The Master. Perhaps only David Chase's 86 hours of The Sopranos can match it.

Sorry, but I read this as validation to Anderson's UNoriginality. He's become lazy and just reproduces the same film...just like the formula written here. Two of my favorite films ever, by anyone, are his first two, Bottle Rocket and Rushmore. Both very original in their own right and unique from his Tenenbaums style. I keep trying his new movies, hoping for something new, but am immensely frustrated at how predictable they've become. Please don't suggest I 'just quit watching his films' as I want to see his originality and real talent come to the screens again.

I am glad that many great movies of 2000s like Mulholland Drive , There will be blood, Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind are in this list Mulholland Drive truly deserve to be in top 100. It is one of the best stories in Hollywood cinema and so is There will be blood. The only movies which i missed is "Schindler List" how could they forget to place this masterpiece in their list.

rome was delightful... silly... surreal... fun... i still don't get what some critics problems were... it's done very well in most places to audiences seem to like it. 70 million worldwide take

I went to see this at an afternoon showing in my local cinema and found the critical mauling I had read to be so inaccurate that my contempt for the bandwagon of movie criticism just shot through the roof. The film is perhaps light but thoroughly enjoyable, a lot wittier than it was given credit for, shining with brilliant Allen dialogue and ludicrous scenarios and quite simply an enjoyable movie.
